Lost and Found:
Parents, Students, and Staff, If you have lost something be sure to check the lost and found!
- If you have lost clothing, coats, bags, books, etc. please look in the bins located by the
- concession stand in the Gym hall.
- If you have lost smaller items such as a wallet, keys, calculator or phone stop in the main
- office and we will assist you.

Senior IB Diploma candidates are going through a very busy stretch of time as major assessments
in several classes are either in the draft phase or in their final phase.
As we look beyond the holidays and into January, it is time to begin thinking about course selection for
the 2019-2020 school year. To that end, I’d like to extend an open invitation to all students and families,
in any grade, to join me for an IB Information Night on Tuesday January 15 at 6:00pm in the BHS Theater.

January 10 - Winter Band Concert
Food and Nutrition Department:
The breakfast program will be featuring a delicious and nutritious fruit smoothie. Loaded with fresh fruit and yogurt this smoothie will provide lots of energy and protein to start the school day off with a bang. In addition to breakfast combo meals, the kitchen will be offering a homemade festive holiday gingerbread. This lovely treat will keep you feeling satisfied with its warm spice combination and is topped with a sweet drizzle of vanilla glaze.These featured items are so tasty! Don't miss out on these healthy, wholesome new breakfast items.
The hot lunch program is featuring an exciting new meal on Monday, December 17th. We will be offering a local beef or falafel patty topped with a mediterranean red pepper sauce and assorted chopped veggies, stuffed into a whole grain pita pocket. This is being paired with a fresh tomato, cucumber & parsley salad and roasted local winter vegetables. On Tuesday, December 18th hot lunch will be offering a fresh spinach salad with pomegranates and a homemade vinaigrette. The sub station is offering a festive holiday inspired wrap: “The Grinch” includes bacon, lettuce, tomato and a spicy avocado sauce in a spinach wrap. Some delicious new recipes to come and try!
Winter Play Auditions are December 13, 14, 15.
December 14th, the swim team is putting on a movie night. $3.00 in the theater, 6pm.

MST: All Freshman and Sophomore students will be attending an informational assembly regarding programs offered at Manchester School of Technology during Advisory A on December 17th. Details regarding the Career Week Field Trip to MST in January will be discussed and permission slips will be distributed. Interested students can see Ms. Woods in 229 for additional information.
RWL: Students can find RWL activities requiring volunteer sign-ups under the “Opportunities” tab when they log into their X2VOL accounts. Students may also continue to log hours on the X2VOL site.

COFFEE AND CONVERSATION with Interim Superintendent Mike Fournier: Hosted by the PTG, Interim Superintendent Mike Fournier invites you to “Coffee and Conversation”, Tuesday, January 8th, 6:30PM at Bedford Town Library (Richmond Meeting Room)…LIMITED SEATING-RSVP REQUIRED.
This will be a small, informal gathering to discuss Bedford School District happenings.
In order to be more interactive and personal, seating is limited so you must RSVP here… Coffee&ConversationSignUp if you wish to attend.
This will be a discussion based gathering, so questions and comments will be encouraged.
Additional get-togethers with Mr. Fournier will take place throughout the school year if you are unable to attend or seats are no longer available.
