Social Media Survey
The attached survey will be administered to 9th graders during their Wellness I classes next week. BHS offers various social media awareness programs throughout the school-year. The 9th grade perceptions of social media will be helpful to the planning of these activities and will help us create activities that are more meaningful to the students. The survey is completely anonymous. Please notify Mr. Hagen in writing by Wednesday, September 27th if you wish for your child to opt out of this survey.

From the Counseling Department:
The Level Change deadline is Friday, September 29th. This means that the course that a student "drops/leaves" will not be recorded on his/her transcript. AFTER the 29th the course will be recorded with a "WP" or "WF" depending on the student's academic standing when he/she withdraws. The Withdraw does NOT impact their GPA. Also, the grade earned in the previous course does not move with the student until a level change after the 29th. Between today and that Friday the student gets a "clean slate" in their new course. If your student is wrestling with this decision, know that no courses can be dropped in the final quarter it is offered (ex. a 1st semester elective cannot be dropped in Q2 or a yearlong course cannot be dropped in Q4).
PSAT- Wednesday, October 11th All sophomores are pre-registered. Additional spots are available on a first come-first serve basis and juniors will have priority. The cost of the test for 9th and 11th grade students is $25 and the deadline to sign up is Friday, September 29th. Please visit the Counseling Office to sign-up
