From the Principal:
From the BHS family to yours, Our wish is for everyone to enjoy the wonderful holiday season with family and friends! It is truly a special time of year!
At BHS, a variety of students are given opportunities to work and have experiences selling popcorn on Thursdays in Bulldog Corner and running the Bulldog Cafe for staff on Thursdays and Fridays. Monies made have been used to support the Life Skills program. For example, buying new hats to wear while running the Bulldog Cafe and/or replenishing needed supplies. This year, a surplus was made and it was decided that the students would “give back to their community” with the extra funds. The students prepared, shopped for and provided canned goods and dry food supplies to the Bedford Food Pantry at the Bedford Presbyterian Church in November. They also supported a local family with presents for the holidays in December. The students are proud of their work and what they have accomplished! They are to be congratulated for their work, their generosity and their spreading of good cheer to those in need! Happy Holidays!
