From the Principal:
OPEN HOUSE at BHS
On This is an opportunity for parents to learn about their daughter or son’s schedule and the expectations in each of the the courses. We will run through an abbreviated schedule so that you will have a chance to meet all of their teachers. Your son or daughter will be asked to bring home their schedule for you. However, sometimes high school students forget to bring things home so I have included a template for the evening’s schedule. Ask your son or daughter to complete this for you before the Open House. (It’s a great exercise to help them learn their schedule.) , BHS will host our annual Fall Open House.
For parents of Seniors, note on the schedule there is a Senior Project informational session from in the theater.
For parents of students taking Hybrids courses this semester you will also note a meeting schedule in the template.
Traffic Pattern for Drop-off and Pick-up
Anyone familiar with the traffic at the BHS/RAL campus knows that things can get a little hectic during the morning and afternoon drop off and pick up.
Please click here to review the drop off and pick up practices at Lurgio.
As always, we ask all drivers to do the following:
- Pull forward as far as possible in the Pick Up/Drop Off Area.
- Yield to pedestrians at all times when on campus.
- Take turns at the main intersections when congestion is high.
- Be patient.
