BHS: News

Good Morning,
BSD Voting Day – March 10
The Bedford School District election/voting is on Tuesday, March 10 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM in the Bedford High School Gymnasium. If you will not be able to vote on March 10, the application for an absentee ballot is available here on the Town of Bedford website. The process is very simple and straightforward. More information about the proposed budget is available here on the School District website.  Feel free to contact Superintendent McGee with any additional questions.  He can be reached at 472-3755 or mcgeec@sau25.net.
Try out the new Smarter Balanced Test
You can try your hand at taking a practice version of the new Smarter Balanced test here.  You will find sample questions and tutorials on how the test works.  As mentioned last week, students in grades 3 - 8 and grade 11 will be taking these new state tests in English Language Arts and Mathematics this spring.  The Smarter Balanced tests replace the NECAP tests. Smarter Balanced will be used by 20 states including New Hampshire.  This will allow us to compare our students' performance to other high performing school districts across the country.  Students will take these tests on the computer over several days.  Over the coming weeks, we will continue to share information about Smarter Balanced, how it works, and what your child can expect.
