BHS Graduation Information


Graduation Info
2014

Graduation will be held rain or shine on June 14th at 10:00.  The location will be either at Bulldog stadium or in the Gymnasium.  The BHS website will be our primary source for disseminating information. 

The following information pertains to a 10:00 outdoor graduation
*Each senior will be given one parking pass for the upper lot that they can use                    
  either for themselves or for their family.  There will be spots reserved for our 
  handicapped guests located next to the concession stand.
*The parking lot will open at 7:30 sharp
*Seniors will need to be in the high school by 8:45
*Seating will be first come first serve. 
*No tickets are necessary for an outside event. 
*Everyone is asked to be in your seats by 9:45
*The Theater will be open for those choosing to watch the graduation streamed
  into the Theater. (FYI the Theater is air-conditioned, and no ticket is required)
*The ceremony will last approximately 2 hours.
*A professional photographer will take pictures of each graduate receiving their  
  diploma. 
*We ask that all guests remained seated for the entire graduation ceremony.
* Graduates will receive their diplomas from their Advisors.  The distribution of
   the diplomas will be determined by their advisors last name. The order of
   graduates will be in the program.
                 
The following information pertains to a rain event at 10:00am on June 14th.
*The parking lot will open at 7:30 sharp
         *Seniors will need to report to the main office by 8:45
*Tickets are required for this event.  Each senior will be given 8
            tickets at the rehearsal on June 13th; 6 tickets for the gymnasium and 2 for the  
            theater
*Everyone is asked to be in your seats by 9:45.
*We ask that all guests remained seated for the entire graduation ceremony.
* Graduates will receive their diplomas from their Advisors.  The distribution of
   the diplomas will be determined by their advisors last name. The order of  
   graduates will be in the program.
        
Other General Information
*Students are expected to dress accordingly for this formal event.
*Girls will be in a white gown. Light colors look the best as the white gowns are
  thin and darker colors will show through.  flip flops, jeans, shorts and sneakers
  are prohibited.
*Boys will be in red. They are prohibited from wearing flip flops, jeans, shorts
  and sneakers.  Boys are required to wear a collared shirt and tie
*Students can decorate their caps.  However, anything distasteful will be  
  discarded and nothing 3 dimensional will be allowed as it will impede the vision
  of people behind them.
