SPRING- Is it here?
Given this Winter, I have been cautious about proclaiming that SPRING has arrived! I have reviewed the five day forecast and see that temps are likely to be close to 70 degrees! At the high school this means it is time for me to ask parents to remind their sons and daughters that the school has a reasonable dress code and students are expected to respect the code. The general standards are: finger tips must touch cloth when arms are at ones side, tops must cover the mid-drift and chest and have straps, pants must cover the backside so that undergarments are not visible (belts can be very helpful). See the student handbook for more detail. This afternoon we will be reminding all students that there is a place for "beach wear" and school is not the beach! Students who do not meet the reasonable standards will be sent home to change. Any work missed during that time will not be able to be made up. Thanks for your support.
On , at in the BHS library the PTG is sponsoring a Principal's Coffee. Zanna Blaney, Dean of Student Services will discuss ways to get the most out of a college visit. Coffees are informal and last approximately one hour. We do limit the number of participants in an effort to allow everyone to engage in the presentation. If you are interested please email Karen Tebbenhoff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
