BHS: Infosnap

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The Bedford School District is excited to announce an online student registration and student data validation system for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year, powered by infosnap.  The system is a secure and green process, which allows the district to quickly obtain up to date accurate information on your student. The online system will be used to verify all student demographic, emergency and medical information for your child and allow you to update that information prior to the start of the new school year. The system will also allow you to electronically sign the annual permission forms for school district policies such as the Technology Use Policy, School Handbooks and PowerSchool Parent Portal.  This online process replaces the hard copy student registration and permission forms that your child brings home on the first day of school.

In early August, you will receive an email from the Bedford School District with instructions on how to access the system for your student. You will create an account that you will use each year for this registration process. The email will contain a link that contains a secure “snapcode” that links directly to your student’s information. A form must be submitted for each student in your family, thus you will receive an email for each student. Once you have successfully submitted one registration, you will have the opportunity to begin another from the “Confirmation” page and the option to copy family information and emergency contacts to other students in your family.

We will be using the current email address that we have on file at your child’s school. Please contact the school’s main office if we do not have the most recent email address or if your email address changes over the summer. We would appreciate all families to take action and complete these forms as soon as possible after receiving the email. Your student’s registration will not be complete until the forms have been submitted.

If you do not have access to the Internet, contact your child’s school and you can make an appointment to use a school computer to complete the process. If you have any further questions, please contact the school office.

Sincerely,

Bill
