Assistant Superintendent Chip McGee would like to meet with a group of parents at all six schools to discuss the new district policy regarding healthy snacks.
At this meeting Mr. McGee will explain the background of the law, the district wellness policy, and the new shared snack guidelines. He will also explain some of the concerns that have been raised by the community about this policy and then would like to receive feedback from the group. Feedback will be used to improve the process for implementation and communication of the policy.
We are looking for 10 - 12 interested parents at BHS to meet from 7 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, March 19th. Participants will be chosen on a first come/first served basis. Please email Deb Delahunty at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested and able to participate.
